Hotel website builder

Hotel website builder with a booking engine built in

A hotel website builder makes your property a website from your own rooms, rates, photos and policies, and lets guests book on it. LodgingOs builds one for every property, with a commission-free booking engine, live availability and an AI chat built in, and it is included in the same $199 a month as the front desk.

What is a hotel website builder?

A hotel website builder is a tool that makes a website for a hotel, motel or inn without hiring a web designer. The difference from a general website builder is that it already knows what a hotel is: rooms and room types, nightly rates, how many of each are free on a given night, check-in and check-out times, cancellation policies and taxes. Instead of designing pages and pasting in a booking widget from somewhere else, you enter your property's details once and the site is built from them.

The point of a hotel website is direct bookings. Every guest who books on your own site instead of an online travel agency saves you the 15 to 25% commission that Booking.com, Expedia and the rest take. A site that only shows your rooms sends guests back to those sites to book. A site with the booking built in keeps them.

What a LodgingOs hotel website includes

  • A home page with your photos or video, your story and what is nearby.
  • A page for every room type, with photos, beds, amenities, rates and live availability.
  • Amenities, location, photos and policies pages, written from the details you enter.
  • A booking engine on every page: guests pick dates, see real prices with tax included, and pay.
  • Payments straight into your own Stripe account. LodgingOs takes no commission.
  • An AI chat that answers guest questions from your hotel's own information, at any hour.
  • A link in every confirmation for the guest to see their booking and cancel within your policy.
  • Online check-in before arrival, and a review request after the stay.
  • Your own domain, or a free yourhotel.lodgingos.com address.

How the booking engine works on your website

The booking engine is not a separate product bolted onto the site. It reads the same rooms, rates and availability as your front desk, so the price a guest sees is the price you set and a room that is sold is gone everywhere at once. Taxes are worked out and shown in the total before the guest pays, so there are no surprises at check-in.

When a guest books, the money goes to your Stripe account at Stripe's own rate, and the booking lands on your front desk with the guest's details and room type, ready for arrival. There is no export, no email to retype and no nightly sync to wait for.

How building your hotel website works

Everything is edited from the same desk you run the hotel from. Change a rate or a photo and the website follows; there is no second login and nothing to keep in step by hand.

  • Enter your property: name, address, phone, check-in and check-out times, amenities and policies.
  • Add your room types with photos, bed types, occupancy and rates.
  • Pick a look: a page colour, a typeface, a hero layout, how much the page moves, and the order of the sections.
  • Let LodgingOs draft the words from your details, then edit anything you want in your own voice.
  • Preview the whole site privately, then publish. Changes stay in a draft until you publish again.
  • Point your domain at it, or use your lodgingos.com address straight away.

Make it look like your property

A roadside motel, a lake resort and a city inn should not look like the same template. You choose from eighteen page colours, from near-white Linen to deep Midnight and Forest, a range of typefaces, several ways of laying out the opening photo or video, and how the page animates, from completely still to a gentle rise.

Your photos carry the site. Rooms, amenities and the area around you each get their own photos, and the layout is built for phones first, which is where most guests look and book.

Built to be found on Google and AI assistants

Each hotel website comes with the structure search engines look for. Every page has its own title and description, the site publishes its own sitemap, and the pages carry schema.org Hotel markup built from what you entered: your name, address, phone, photos, amenities, check-in times and starting rates. Nothing is made up; there are no invented star ratings, which Google penalises.

When a hotel uses its own domain, that domain is the one search engines are told is the real address, so your site does not compete with a copy of itself. And if you switch it on, AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude can look up your rooms and live prices through the LodgingOs connector and send guests to book on your own site.

Connected to the rest of your hotel

The website is one part of one system. The same rooms and rates run your front desk, your channel manager and your phone line, so a booking from your website, Booking.com, a walk-in or a phone call all land in one place and can never put two guests in the same room.

  • Channel manager: Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb stay in sync through Channex.
  • Mae, the AI phone agent, quotes the same live rates and holds rooms on the phone.
  • Self check-in: guests who booked on your site check themselves in from their phone.
  • The front desk: arrivals, folios, housekeeping and night audit, all from the same data.

Hotel website builder or general website builder?

General website builders make good-looking pages, but they do not know your rooms. To take bookings you add a booking engine from another company, pay for it separately, and keep its rates and availability in step with your front desk and your channel manager yourself. When the three disagree, you find out from a double booking.

A hotel website builder that is part of your property management system removes that whole layer. There is one place where rates and availability live, and the website, the front desk and the booking sites all read from it.

Questions

Do I need a web designer?

No. The site is built from what you enter in LodgingOs, and you change it from the desk. We set it up with you on the onboarding call.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Your website can run on your own domain, or on a free yourhotel.lodgingos.com address.

Is there a commission on bookings from my website?

No. Guests pay into your own Stripe account at Stripe's rate, and LodgingOs adds nothing per booking.

Will it work on phones?

Yes. The site is built for phones first, including the booking and the payment.

Can I change the words and photos myself?

Each page has its own title and description, the site has a sitemap, and it carries schema.org Hotel markup from your real details. Ranking also depends on your reviews, your Google Business Profile and other sites linking to you.

What does it cost?

$199 a month per property, flat. No setup fee, no contract, first month free. The website is included; it is not an add-on.
